COVID 19 and self isolation has been an interesting experience.  It did leave a lot of time for painting and trying different effects.  Part of the process used here was to throw pure alcohol over wet washes to give the mottled effect.

'Mangalam' is my latest commission and very slowly taking shape.  The humidity this year is making progress very slow.  The method used to paint this I have found relies on cool dry conditions.  Sadly Sydney is nothing like this in Summer!

Buddha is finally in its last stages, started 6 months ago as a floor canvas but change of plan mid stream. Will now be stretched and framed instead. Bit too large at its original size of 2m x 2m so will have to trim it down.
